Mr. Fukuyama talked about his book The Great Disruption: Human Nature and the Reconstitution of Social Order published by The Free Press. He focused on the breakdown of Western culture during the transition from an industrial to a technological society. The book uses Japan as an example of how social and economic norms are disrupted as countries change from industrial economies to information economies.
