The first two panels of researchers and families of POW/MIAs talked about the problems associated with finding and identifying information on prisoners of war. Among the problems addressed were the lack of cooperation from government agencies, resolving conflicting information, and lack of cooperation by Asian countries. The third panel talked about the transfer of some prisoners to the Soviet Union and China. In the last segment Undersecretary James addressed several issues brought up by the previous panels.
