Mr. Marks talked about his book Between Silk and Cyanide: A Codemaker’s War 1941-1945 published by Free Press. The book details his wartime experiences as a codemaker for Great Britain. Mr. Marks developed new code systems, some of which were based upon occasionally lewd poems, and other ideas such as printing keys on silk. Following his prepared remarks he answered audience questions and signed books. close
