The forum was called Presidential Lawmaking Powers: Vetoes, Line-Item Vetoes, Singing Statements, Executive Orders and Delegations of Rule Making Authority. The Federalist Society is chaired by Senator Robb and Attorney General Thornburgh. The society believes that the state exists to preserve freedom through the separation of powers. They also believe in judicial restraint, or that the courts should decide law as it is, not as it should be. close
