Trade union representatives met with reporters following a meeting with President Bush. They discussed policy issues for the forthcoming economic summit. AFL-CIO President Lane Kirkland explained the need for a joint statement from the Labor groups represented there. The objective being to help develop coordinated and comprehensive policies for the average citizen.
