Special coverage of the Persian Gulf crisis included interviews with servicemen and women of the 211th Military Police Company from Asheville, North Carolina. The camera crew accompanied them in a cargo plane on the trip to Saudi Arabia. A chemical warfare training class is shown, as well as an interview with Lt. Col. Baron Hignite, public affairs officer with the North Carolina National Guard. In a live interview the television crew gave their own accounts of daily life as they traveled with the 211th from North Carolina to their first stop at Westover Air Force Base in Chickapee, MA. close
