Former Eisenhower staff and cabinet officials discussed the Eisenhower presidential policy in the areas of defense and foreign affairs at a symposium celebrating the 100th anniversary of Eisenhower’s birth. The event took place at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. Prior to the panel discussion is a brief biographical segment on the 34th president, and following the panel is an Eisenhower cabinet meeting which took place on October 25th, 1954. This was the first ever televised Presidential Cabinet meeting. close
