In his keynote address, President and CEO Kweisi Mfume said that the NAACP would file a class-action suit against handgun manufacturers and distributors, and that it would call for boycotts of the major broadcast networks because not one of 26 network shows introduced for the fall contained an ethnic minority in a leading role. close
