Edwin Gray, former chair of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board (FHLBB) continued his testimony in the afternoon of the third day of the Senate Select Committee on Ethics investigative hearings into the so-called Keating Five scandal. Mr Gray gave testimony regarding the meetings he had with the accused Senators and their lobbying efforts on behalf of Charles Keating’s Lincoln Savings & Loan. The FHLBB is one of the agencies assigned to regulate savings and loan banks. The committee took a brief recess during this portion of the hearing. close
