Life Portrait of William McKinley In the twenty-fourth in a series on American presidents, historians and scholars discussed the life and career of William McKinley. Among the issues discussed were his family life, his political career, his assassination, and the Spanish-American War. They also looked at his correspondence and artifacts at the McKinley Museum and at the McKinley National Memorial. During the program a teacher from McKinley High School was interviewed via telephone and guests responded to viewer comments and questions. Mr. Vasbinder is the author of The Architectural Symbolism of the McKinley Memorial. close
