The Center for the Study of Popular Culture held a panel discussion at the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Panel members discussed problems facing the urban population. They cited the need to strengthen families, curb street crime, and provide real economic opportunities in the inner city. They claimed that Republicans are unfairly criticized as being “hard-hearted” towards social issues. close
