Obesity: The Public Health Crisis
Members talked to reporters about the growing problem of obesity in America.
They focused on how obesity is a disease and can lead to various health problems and attributed the increase in obesity to the lack of physical activity and poor nutrition among Americans. Their recommendation was that everyone have some type of moderate physical activity at least five days a weeks.
