At this forum held by the Americans United for Separation of Church & State, participants talked about religious freedom and the way social services are provided to the public. Among the issues they addressed were the growing number of hospital mergers and how those run by religious institutions could successfully deny certain services to a community. They also spoke about charitable choice laws and sectarian substance abuse programs. After their comments they answered questions from the audience. close
