Participants paid tribute to Barney Rosset and his contributions to the publishing industry. They stressed that Mr. Rosset had the courage to write about controversial topics that helped define American culture. Mr. Rosset reflected on his publishing career. Mr. Rosset was the recipient of the Small Press Center’s “Poor Richard” award for outstanding contributions by an American publisher.
