Ms. Smith talks about her book, [Tuskegee Airman: The Biography of

Charles E. McGee, Air Force Fighter Combat Record Holder], published

by Branden Publishing. The author, daughter of the fighter ace,

tells the story of his life through three wars. He and other

African Americans formed their own air fighter group during World War II. Colonel McGee,

the subject of the biography, joined his daughter and talked about some of his experiences.

After their prepared remarks they took questions from the audience. close
