Dr. Harris and Ms. Ericsson-Jackson answered questions from the audience of school children. Two African-American scientists were honored. Their pictures were unveiled and will hang in the National Academy of Sciences. Teachers in the audience were called up on the stage for recognition. The Walter Johnson Gospel Show Choir and Madrigals performed.
