Secretary Richardson and members of Congress briefed reporters on plans to compensate thousands of workers exposed to radiation while working in federal nuclear arms production facilities. The plan would offer up to $100,000 to workers with certain cancers and would assist others filing claims against the government. After their comments they answered questions from reporters. close
