Federal Aviation Administrator Jane Garvey spoke to reporters about the levels of funding for the agency and the potential impact to the nation’s airports. She said that while air travel was increasing funding levels were not adequate to meet the demands of higher air traffic, saying that emergency supplemental funding would be necessary.
