Marriage on Trial: The Case Against Same-Sex Marriage
Glenn Stanton talked about a book he co-authored, Marriage on Trial: The Case Against Same-Sex Marriage and Parenting, published by InterVarsity Press. The author argues that a truly healthy family and household can only be run by a man and a woman and not couples of the same sex. Mr. Stanton also believes that children suffer the most when both sexes are not present in their daily lives and just like other social experiments, this too will fail. He asserted that same-sex families cause problems for “society and humanity.” He argued for “traditional” family structures and asserted that the debate on same-sex marriage has been “poisoned in a negative way” that casts opponents as “hateful, homophobic, bigots.” He responded to audience questions. close
