ACLU Southern California Attorney Dan Tokaji spoke to reporters about a lawsuit brought against the Los Angeles Police Department by the American Civil Liberties Union. He said that even before protests at the Democratic National Convention began, police officers had violated protesters' civil rights through false arrests, as well as illegal searches and surveillance. Following his remarks he answered questions from the reporters. close
