Joseph Califano, Chairman of the Postal Service Commission for a Safe and Secure Workplace announced a report on workplace violence around the U.S., as well as the Postal Service. Mr. Califano and Postmaster General William Henderson explained the procedures of the study and its results, which found, for instance, that postal workers are one-third less likely than other workers to be victims of homicide at work.
