Authors discussed their recent works and how journalism and literature are related. Topics included turning their articles into books. They also responded to questions from members of the audience. Bill Broyles moderated.

Mr. Woolley is the author of Mystic Texas: Essays on the State and Its People, published by Republic of Texas Press. Mr. Reid is the author of Close Calls: Jan Reid’s Texas, published by Texas A&M University Press. Mr. Cartwright is the author of Turn Out the Lights: Chronicles of Texas during the 80s and 90s, published by University of Texas Press. Mr. Broyles, a screenwriter, is the author of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument: Where Edges Meet, published by Southwest Parks and Monuments Association.
