Mr. Morris talked about his book Dutch: A Memoir of Ronald Reagan, published by Random House. The book, which aroused controversy because of Mr. Morris' insertion of fictional characters, is an authorized chronicle of sthe president’s film and political careers.

Mr. Morgan talked about his novel Gap Creek: The Story of a Marriage, published by Algonquin Books. The book is a fictionalized account of the life of his Appalachian grandparents that was the January 2000 selection of the Oprah Book Club. Mr. Morgan also read from the novel. close
