Mr. Vistica talked about his book The Education of Lieutenant Kerrey, published by St. Martin’s Press. In the book, an expanded version of an article he wrote for the New York Times Magazine in 2001, Mr. Vistica argues that former Senator Bob Kerrey, while a lieutenant with the Navy SEALs in Vietnam, led a raid on a small village in the Mekong Delta during which two-dozen unarmed men, women and children were killed. He describes his investigation and the role played by Senator Kerrey throughout. Following his talk, Mr. Vistica answered questions from members of the audience. close
