The USS Wyoming and its crew were profiled through footage shot while the submarine was at sea for training. The Wyoming is an Ohio-class fleet ballistic missile submarine, with 24 missile tubes and 4 torpedo tubes.

Studio guests talked about submarine operations, life aboard a submarine, and answered viewer questions about the submarine force. Additionally, several taped interviews with crew members and their families which focused on operations within various compartments of the submarine, daily life aboard the submarine, and how submarine service affected family life.

In the final portion of the program studio guests presented views critical of the Navy’s submarine and nuclear forces. close
