Lawyers for the Gore campaign asked the court to order the Miami-Dade County canvassing board to expedite a manual recount of votes in the presidential election. Judge N. Sanders Sauls, however, ruled that hearings would be held on the subject and ordered that uncounted ballots be brought to the court in the event of a recount. close
