Continuing Resolution: By a unanimous vote of 99 yeas (Vote No. 295), Senate passed H.J. Res. 126, making further continuing appropriations for the fiscal year 2001, clearing the measure for the President.

American Embassy Security Act/Bankruptcy Reform Act Conference Report: Senate resumed consideration of the conference report on H.R. 2415, to enhance security of United States missions and personnel overseas, to authorize appropriations for the Department of State for fiscal year 2000. (On October 11, 2000, the H.R. 2415 conference committee struck all of the House bill after the enacting clause and inserted the provisions of S. 3186, the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 2000).
