Prime Minister Blair and opposition leader William Hague agreed on

enacting new adoption laws and reforming existing ones in light of an

internet adoption scandal. Twin 6-month-old girls were sold over the

internet to a British couple. Mr. Blair also took questions on the proposed

U.S. missile defense system and banning hunting with dogs.

Prior to the questions for the prime minister, former speaker Betty Boothroyd was inducted in the House of Lords. close
