Co-Authors Stanley and Rodelle Weintraub spoke to a group of 4th and 5th-grade children about their book Dear Young Friend: The Letters of American Presidents to Children, published by Stackpole Books. The book is a collection of letters that presidents have written to their own children, as well as responses to letters from children who wrote to the president asking questions or offering advice. The book includes letters from George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, John Kennedy, and Richard Nixon, among others. The editors also answered questions from the students. close
