Chief Curator and Exhibits Director of the Newseum, Cissy Anklam, talked about the Newseum and the exhibit of pictures taken during the civil rights movement of 1954-1968. The exhibit was also created in observance of African-American history month. The photographs were taken by well-known photographers of the time that had a very monumental effect towards the general public. She also responded to audience questions and comments. close
