Donald Brownlee discusses his book The Life and Death of Planet Earth: How the New Science of Astrobiology Charts the Ultimate Fate of Our World, published by Times Books. Professor Brownlee talks about the history and long term future of Earth. According to Professor Brownlee, the Earth will be destroyed by the heat of the sun in 7.5 billion years.
