The House convened, returning from a recess continuing the legislative day of March 13.

Coordinating Council on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention - the Chair appointed Mr. Michael J. Mahoney, Chicago, Illinois, to a one-year term.

The House received a communication from the Honorable Richard A. Gephardt. Pursuant to paragraph 8 of sec. 801(b) of P.L. 100-696, Mr. Gephardt announced his appointment of the following Member to the United States Capitol Preservation Commission: Mr. Moran of Virginia.
