In light of Senate debate over the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform, Bradley Smith talked about his opposition to campaign finance restrictions. He said that the current restrictions have caused more problems than they have solved. He argued that money is an equalizing force in politics, allowing small parties and unknown candidates to effectively compete with established parties and incumbent candidates. Following his remarks, he answered questions from the audience.
