Thomas Cahill discussed his book Desire of the Everlasting Hills: The World Before and After Jesus, published by Random House. Mr. Cahill talked about the life of Jesus from the point of view of the people who lived during Jesus' time. The book has a particular focus on the effect Jesus had throughout the Roman world as well as Christianity’s later effects on Western civilization. This book is the third in a seven part series entitled “The Hinges of History.” After talking about his book, Mr. Cahill answered questions from members of the audience. close
