Senator Arlen Specter talked about his book Passion for Truth: From Finding JFK’s Single Bullet to Questioning Anita Hill to Impeaching Clinton, published by William Morrow. Provoked by his father’s experience as a WWI veteran, Arlen Specter has been in public service for forty years. He cited his concern over public apathy toward the government as the inspiration for writing this book which includes his roles with the Warren Commission investigation of the JFK assassination, the Bork and Thomas Supreme Court confirmation hearings, the impeachment of President Clinton and his involvement with various congressional committees. After his remarks, Senator Specter took questions from the audience. close
