Noah Adams talked about his book Far Appalachia: Following the New River North, published by Delacorte Press. The book is a travel journal by foot, canoe, bicycle, and automobile that details the history of an area of Appalachia as well as Mr. Adam’s familial lineage in the region. The book discusses various Appalachian elements, from ecosystems along the New River to ghost stories of the original Appalachian pioneers. After his presentation the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
