Brig. Gen. Neal spoke to reporters in Riyadh on current events in the Persian Gulf war. He said the focus of the air campaign continued to concentrate on the Iraqi Republican Guard, battlefield preparations, and the restriking of strategic targets which might have been rebuilt since their original strike. Brig. Gen. Neal also announced that allied planes had attacked four possible mobile SCUD launchers in Iraq during the previous night. close
