Mr. Weinraub moderated a discussion on literary nonfiction by authors of nonfiction. The panelists include: Mark Bowden, author of Killing Pablo: The Hunt for the World’s Greatest Outlaw, published by Atlantic Monthly Press; K.C. Cole, author of The Hole in the Universe: How Scientists Peered over the Edge of Emptiness and Found Everything, published by Harcourt Brace; Miles Corwin, author of And Still We Rise: The Trials and Triumphs of Twelve Gifted Inner-City High School Students, published by William Morrow and Company; and Edward Humes, author of Baby E.R.: The Heroic Doctors and Nurses Who Perform Medicine’s Tiniest Miracles, published by Simon and Schuster. Among the issues they addressed were conducting historical research, documenting sources, and literary style. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
