Democratic Members of the House of Representatives spoke to reporters about their plans to force a new debate on campaign finance reform through the use of a discharge petition. The conservative Democratic coalition known as the Blue Dogs sponsored the legislation. Their announcement followed the defeat of rules for debate of the legislation in the House. Following brief remarks they answered questions from the reporters. close
