Eric Campbell talked about his book, A Grand Terrible Dramma: From Gettysburg to Petersburg: The Civil War Letters of Charles Wellington Reed, published by Fordham University Press. Mr. Campbell edited the collection of over 180 letters and hundreds of drawings produced by Charles Wellington Reed during his military service with the Union Army. From 1862 to 1865, Mr. Reed served as bugler of the Ninth Massachusetts Battery and saw action in most of the battles in the East. close
