Professor Dale Jorgenson talked about the next phase for the U.S. economy. He said economists were wrong in predicting that the late 1990s economic boom would continue. The surge was caused by information technology stock prices and the recent decline was caused by semiconductor technology developments. After his prepared remarks Professor Jorgenson answered questions from members of the audience. close
