The committee heard testimony on the fiscal year 1992 budget proposal submitted to Congress by the Bush administration. The witnesses' testimony also included elaboration upon the Bush administration’s forecast and plans for the next few years to recover from the recession and create a stable healthy economy. Richard Darman displayed charts which reflected the proposed expenditures of various departments within the federal budget and other factors concerning the budget proposal. close
