Following a brief statement outlining the progress of the U.S. campaign against terrorism and the Taliban regime, President Bush answered questions from reporters gathered in the East Room for a prime time news conference. Among the topics he addressed were the scope of operations against terrorism, threats to the U.S., and the role of the United Nations.
