Mr. Benson was interviewed about his book The President and Mrs. Reagan: An American Love Story, published by Harry N. Abrams. As the Reagans' favorite photographer, Harry Benson photographed them numerous times. Mrs. Reagan invited Benson to photograph the couple for a final time. That portrait and others spanning nearly 40 years are gathered together in this book, which also contains an introduction by Patti Davis about her parents, as well as Benson’s own memories of his encounters with the Reagans. The interview also covered the range of his life and work. After the presentation, which included slides of his photographs, Mr. Benson answered audience members' questions. close
