Michael Beschloss talked about his new book, Reaching for Glory: Lyndon Johnson’s Secret: White House Tapes 1964-65, which contains transcripts of some of President Johnson’s tape-recorded telephone conversations. Tapes of a few of the conversations were played. Mr. Beschloss responded to audience telephone calls, faxes and electronic mail. close
