Roy Blount and Calvin Trillin talked about Mark Twain and his newly discovered book, A Murder, A Mystery, and a Marriage published by W.W. Norton & Company. Mr. Blount wrote the foreword and the afterword for the book, a previously unpublished work that Twain wrote for the Atlantic Monthly in 1876. The book is said to reveal the emergence of Twain’s darker vision and the evolution of his politics. After their presentations, the panelists answered questions from members of the audience. close
