Giants of Enterprise Professor Tedlow talked about his book Giants of Enterprise: Seven Business Innovators and the Empires They Built, published by HarperBusiness. Through biographical essays the book chronicles the professional and personal lives of seven nineteenth- and twentieth-century businessmen who used technology to create successful companies. Each essay profiles the central figure, his contribution, and a history of the specific industry and of contemporary society. Professor Tedlow talked about George Eastman and his invention of the camera, Henry Ford and his automobile, and Sam Walton and his retail franchise, Wal-Mart.
