Participants of an event sponsored by the Middle East Policy Council, talked about the relationship between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia and strategic interests in the region. Among the issues they addressed were Saudi Arabian politics and culture, Saudi influences in the Persian Gulf region, Saudi support for the U.S. war of terrorism, and the influence of fundamentalist Islam. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
