The House voted to suspend the rules and agree to H. Res. 88, condemning Cuba’s human rights violations and commending the United Nations Human Rights Commission for its attention to the human rights situation in Cuba. It was made in order on Wednesday, March 6, to consider a motion to suspend the rules and pass H.R. 991, the Defense Production Act Extension Amendments of 1991. The House passed H.J. Res. 157, making technical corrections and correcting enrollment errors in certain Acts making appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1991. close
