Christianity on Trial
Vincent Carroll talked about his book, Christianity on Trial: Arguments Against Anti-Religious Bigotry, published by Encounter Books. The book, co-written by David Shifflett, asserts that the claims that Christianity has, throughout history, gone against the core values of Western culture, are largely unfounded. Mr. Carroll talked about the charges that can be made against Christianity such as the Crusades but also actions such as the abolition of slavery, as well as the moral teachings, of Christianity in order to defend the role that Christianity had throughout history. After the presentation, the author answered questions from members of the audience. close
